The Brief

A homeowner in Cardiff wanted year-round comfort, a home that stays cool through the warmer months and warm when it turns cold, all from a single system. They came to Book Your Boiler for an efficient air conditioning unit, neatly installed and properly commissioned by REFCOM F-Gas certified engineers.

What We Did

Our work included:

• Assessed the space: We looked at the room, talked through how the homeowner wanted to use it, and advised on the best position for efficient, even temperatures and a tidy finish.
• Installed a wall-mounted unit: Fitted a modern wall-mounted air conditioning unit, with all refrigerant work carried out correctly and safely by REFCOM F-Gas certified engineers.
• Handled the pipework: Ran the pipework neatly from the indoor unit to the outdoor condenser, keeping the installation clean and unobtrusive.
• Commissioned the system: Tested the unit in both cooling and heating modes to confirm it was running efficiently and within the correct limits.
• Handed over: Showed the homeowner how to operate the system and get the most efficient use from it, then left the space clean and tidy.

The Result

Efficient cooling in summer and heating in winter, all from one wall-mounted unit. The homeowner now has year-round comfort and low running costs, with the reassurance that the refrigerant work was carried out by REFCOM F-Gas certified engineers and the system was fully commissioned before handover.
