We handle the full range of general plumbing: leaks, taps, toilets, ball valves, low pressure, blocked wastes and the noisy pipes that drive people mad. We also take on bigger jobs, including new bathrooms, showers and full pipework replacements. Whatever the scale, we explain what is involved, give you a clear price, and carry out the work to a high standard, because the small details are what set a good plumber apart.

Have you won any awards?

Yes, and we are very proud of it. In 2025 we were named Boiler Contractor of the Year, and we were also shortlisted as a finalist at the Start-Up Business Awards. It means a lot coming from an industry we care so much about.

What is the difference between a combi boiler and a system boiler?

A combi boiler has all the components it needs inside the one unit, which makes it compact and a popular choice for many homes. A system boiler needs a separate hot water cylinder and diverter valves, which can suit larger homes with a higher demand for hot water. We will recommend the right option for your home when we survey.

How much does a new boiler cost?

A new boiler supplied and installed typically costs between £2,300 and £5,000. The exact price depends on the boiler you choose, the size and complexity of your system, and any extra work involved. We give you a clear, fixed written quote after surveying your home.

How long does a boiler installation take?

A straightforward boiler swap is usually completed in one to two days. A more involved system upgrade or a change of boiler type can take a little longer. We will give you a clear timescale as part of your quote so you can plan around it.

Do you remove the old boiler?

Yes. Removing and disposing of your old boiler is included as part of our installation service. We handle everything, from disconnecting the old unit to taking it away responsibly, so you do not have to arrange anything separately.

Is the boiler warranty registered for me?

Yes. Every new boiler we install comes with a manufacturer warranty, and we register it on your behalf so you are covered from day one. We will explain the warranty terms before you commit so you know exactly what is included.

What is carried out on a boiler service?

A service includes cleaning out the condensate trap and the magnetic filter if one is fitted, then cleaning and servicing the heat exchanger. We also carry out diagnostic checks to make sure the boiler is running within safe working limits, and we leave you with a record of the work.

How much is a boiler service?

An annual boiler service costs between £96 and £120 depending on the make and model. We will confirm the exact price when you book. It is a small cost that protects your warranty and helps avoid bigger bills later on.

How often should I service my boiler?

We recommend servicing your boiler once a year. An annual service keeps your manufacturer warranty valid, helps the boiler run safely and efficiently, and catches small issues before they turn into expensive breakdowns. Autumn is a popular time to book, ready for winter.

Will you remind me when my service is due?

Yes. We set up annual reminders so you never have to remember when your service is due. We even attach a barcode to your boiler that lets you report any issue to us in seconds, which is all part of the ongoing care we build into our service.

Does an annual service keep my warranty valid?

Usually, yes. Most manufacturers require a boiler to be serviced every year by a registered engineer to keep the warranty valid. We carry out the service and leave you with a record, so your cover stays in place.

Can my boiler be repaired?

In most cases, yes. Once we have investigated the fault, we will tell you whether the parts are still available, what they cost, and whether it is economically worth replacing them given the age and condition of the boiler. You get the full picture before any money is spent.

How much does a boiler repair cost?

Boiler repairs typically range from £96 to £500 depending on the fault and the parts needed. We diagnose the problem first and give you a clear price before carrying out any work, so there are no surprises.

Can you fix my boiler the same day?

Often, yes. We carry common spare parts so we can fix many faults on the first visit. If a manufacturer-specific part needs ordering, we will tell you straight away and get you booked back in as quickly as possible.

Do you repair all boiler brands?

Yes. Our engineers work on all the major boiler brands. We diagnose the fault, explain what is needed, and give you honest advice on whether a repair or a replacement is the better value for you.

What should I do if my boiler keeps losing pressure?

A boiler that keeps losing pressure usually points to a small leak in the system or a faulty expansion vessel or pressure relief valve. You can top it up using the filling loop if you are comfortable doing so, but if it keeps dropping, give us a call and we will find the cause.

Can a gas supply be re-routed?

Yes. We will carry out safety checks to make sure the current gas supply is safe, then make provision for installing a new gas supply, ensuring it is installed to current gas regulations. It is a common job for kitchen changes and new appliances.

Are you qualified to carry out gas work?

Yes. All of our gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers, which is a legal requirement for gas work in the UK. We sign every job off to current gas regulations and provide the relevant paperwork.

Do you install gas appliances?

Yes. We install and check gas appliances including cookers and hobs, and we can fit new gas supplies where needed. We always test thoroughly and leave you with documentation that confirms the work is safe and compliant.

Can you carry out a gas safety check?

Yes. We carry out gas safety checks and inspections for homeowners and landlords. If we find anything that is not right, we will make it safe and explain clearly what needs doing.

Do you provide gas safety certificates for landlords?

Yes. We carry out landlord gas safety checks and provide the certificate (CP12) required for rental properties. Get in touch and we will arrange a visit at a time that suits you and your tenants.

Can air conditioning heat my home as well as cool it?

Yes, air conditioning heats as well as cools. A modern system keeps you cool in summer and works in reverse to heat your rooms efficiently in winter, giving you year-round comfort from a single unit.

How energy efficient is an air conditioning unit?

They are extremely energy efficient. Depending on the unit you could achieve a coefficient of performance of around three, which means for every 1kW of electricity you use you get roughly 3kW of heating or cooling output. That makes it a cost-effective way to control the temperature in your home.

How much does air conditioning cost to install?

Air conditioning installations typically range from £1,400 to £7,000 depending on the type and number of units. We will assess your space and give you a clear quote for the system that suits your home and budget.

Are you certified for air conditioning work?

Yes. Our air conditioning installs are carried out by REFCOM F-Gas certified engineers, so the refrigerant work is handled correctly and safely, in line with the regulations.

Where can air conditioning units be installed?

We install wall-mounted, ceiling and multi-room systems to suit your space. During your free survey we will advise on the best position for efficient, even temperatures and a neat finish.

My pipes are making a humming noise, what could it be?

That humming noise is usually water hammer. It is caused by surges within the water pressure, typically from a defective tap or toilet valve. It is a common problem and one we fix regularly, so get in touch and we will sort it.

What plumbing work do you cover?

We cover the full range of general plumbing, from leaks, taps, toilets and low pressure through to bathroom installations, showers and pipework. Whatever the size of the job, we will explain what is involved and give you a clear price.

Can you fix a leak quickly?

Yes. Leaks are one of the most common jobs we deal with, and we know they need sorting quickly before they cause damage. Give us a call or send a message and we will get to you as soon as we can.

Do you install bathrooms?

Yes. As well as everyday plumbing repairs, we take on larger jobs including new bathrooms, showers and full pipework replacements. We carry out the work to a high standard and keep your home clean and tidy throughout.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

We keep our pricing clear and fair. Tell us about the job by phone, WhatsApp or email and we will explain the costs up front before we start, so you always know where you stand.
