How can we help you?
Book Your Boiler is a family-run business led by Chad Greenway, who brings 18 years of hands-on experience as a plumbing and heating engineer. Chad's wife runs the back office and his daughter heads up the social side, and every engineer on the team is hand-picked to share the same care and attention to detail. When you book us, you get a close-knit local team that genuinely cares, not a faceless call centre.
We are Gas Safe registered and REFCOM F-Gas certified, so whether it is a boiler install, a gas job or an air conditioning system, the work meets the highest safety and quality standards. In 2025 we were proud to be named Boiler Contractor of the Year, and we were also shortlisted as a finalist at the Start-Up Business Awards.
What really sets us apart is that we care about our customers. We take the time to build a rapport while we work, we keep you informed at every step, and we carry out every job to the highest standard. Many of our customers come back to us and recommend us to friends and family because they know we will do it properly.
We have built our service around making life easy. When you book, you get a text and email to confirm, you can track your engineer when they are on the way, and we set up annual reminders so you never miss a service. That level of customer care is the Book Your Boiler difference.
We are based in Caerphilly and cover Cardiff, Caerphilly, Newport, Pontypridd, Barry, Penarth, Sully, Bridgend and the surrounding parts of South Wales. If you are not sure whether you are in our area, give us a call on 07894 080 679 and we will let you know.

Yes, and we are very proud of it. In 2025 we were named Boiler Contractor of the Year, and we were also shortlisted as a finalist at the Start-Up Business Awards. It means a lot coming from an industry we care so much about.
A combi boiler has all the components it needs inside the one unit, which makes it compact and a popular choice for many homes. A system boiler needs a separate hot water cylinder and diverter valves, which can suit larger homes with a higher demand for hot water. We will recommend the right option for your home when we survey.
A new boiler supplied and installed typically costs between £2,300 and £5,000. The exact price depends on the boiler you choose, the size and complexity of your system, and any extra work involved. We give you a clear, fixed written quote after surveying your home.
A straightforward boiler swap is usually completed in one to two days. A more involved system upgrade or a change of boiler type can take a little longer. We will give you a clear timescale as part of your quote so you can plan around it.
Yes. Removing and disposing of your old boiler is included as part of our installation service. We handle everything, from disconnecting the old unit to taking it away responsibly, so you do not have to arrange anything separately.
Yes. Every new boiler we install comes with a manufacturer warranty, and we register it on your behalf so you are covered from day one. We will explain the warranty terms before you commit so you know exactly what is included.
A service includes cleaning out the condensate trap and the magnetic filter if one is fitted, then cleaning and servicing the heat exchanger. We also carry out diagnostic checks to make sure the boiler is running within safe working limits, and we leave you with a record of the work.
An annual boiler service costs between £96 and £120 depending on the make and model. We will confirm the exact price when you book. It is a small cost that protects your warranty and helps avoid bigger bills later on.
We recommend servicing your boiler once a year. An annual service keeps your manufacturer warranty valid, helps the boiler run safely and efficiently, and catches small issues before they turn into expensive breakdowns. Autumn is a popular time to book, ready for winter.
Yes. We set up annual reminders so you never have to remember when your service is due. We even attach a barcode to your boiler that lets you report any issue to us in seconds, which is all part of the ongoing care we build into our service.
Usually, yes. Most manufacturers require a boiler to be serviced every year by a registered engineer to keep the warranty valid. We carry out the service and leave you with a record, so your cover stays in place.
In most cases, yes. Once we have investigated the fault, we will tell you whether the parts are still available, what they cost, and whether it is economically worth replacing them given the age and condition of the boiler. You get the full picture before any money is spent.
Boiler repairs typically range from £96 to £500 depending on the fault and the parts needed. We diagnose the problem first and give you a clear price before carrying out any work, so there are no surprises.
Often, yes. We carry common spare parts so we can fix many faults on the first visit. If a manufacturer-specific part needs ordering, we will tell you straight away and get you booked back in as quickly as possible.
Yes. Our engineers work on all the major boiler brands. We diagnose the fault, explain what is needed, and give you honest advice on whether a repair or a replacement is the better value for you.
A boiler that keeps losing pressure usually points to a small leak in the system or a faulty expansion vessel or pressure relief valve. You can top it up using the filling loop if you are comfortable doing so, but if it keeps dropping, give us a call and we will find the cause.
Yes. We will carry out safety checks to make sure the current gas supply is safe, then make provision for installing a new gas supply, ensuring it is installed to current gas regulations. It is a common job for kitchen changes and new appliances.

Yes, air conditioning heats as well as cools. A modern system keeps you cool in summer and works in reverse to heat your rooms efficiently in winter, giving you year-round comfort from a single unit.
They are extremely energy efficient. Depending on the unit you could achieve a coefficient of performance of around three, which means for every 1kW of electricity you use you get roughly 3kW of heating or cooling output. That makes it a cost-effective way to control the temperature in your home.
Air conditioning installations typically range from £1,400 to £7,000 depending on the type and number of units. We will assess your space and give you a clear quote for the system that suits your home and budget.
